EXPERIENCE

Over twenty five (25) years experience in design of water, wastewater, street and surface water drainage systems for commercial and residential developments in Horry and Georgetown Counties. Responsibilities include project planning, feasibility studies, acquisition of government regulatory agency approvals, and contract administration. Experience includes expertise in Computer Aided Drafting Design as well as other computer programs to assist in specialized areas of civil engineering design such as surveying, hydrology, sedimentology and hydraulics. He has been with ETS since 1986.

MAJOR PROJECTS

Pawleys Plantation Golf and Country Club (Georgetown County, South Carolina). A 582 acre subdivision containing 750 residential units and a Jack Nicklaus design golf course. Project utilities consist of 38,000 linear feet LF) of water line, 31,000 LF of sewer line, 30,000 LF of roadway and four (4) sewage pumping stations. Responsible for design of water, wastewater, street and surface water drainage systems to serve all single family units. Responsible for design of water, wastewater, surface water drainage, site grading and parking areas for the golf course maintenance facility, the golf clubhouse and four (4) multi-family areas. Obtained well permit for golf course irrigation system.

Pinehurst National Golf Club (Pinehurst, North Carolina). A 520 acre subdivision containing 623 residential units and a Jack Nicklaus design golf course. Project utilities consist of 43,475 LF of water line, 46,946 LF of sewer line, 30,000 LF of roadway. Responsible for design of surface water drainage system for golf course and residential areas.

Waccamaw High School (Pawleys Island, South Carolina). A 49 acre site containing a new county high school, parking areas and athletic fields. Responsible for design of surface water drainage system.

Sheraton Motor Inn (Myrtle Beach, South Carolina). The project consists of a two-story convention center addition and a 15-story, 52 suite addition to the existing Sheraton Motor Inn. Project required relocation of existing water and wastewater utilities and construction of new parking areas. Responsible for design of water, wastewater and surface water drainage systems.

Village Green at Pawleys (Pawleys Island, South Carolina). A 21 acre site containing a retail shopping center and condominium development. Responsibilities include design of water, wastewater and surface water drainage systems.

Barefoot RV Resort (North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina). An eight acre ocean front recreational vehicle campground development with 126 existing vehicle sites and amenities. Responsible for design of storm water drainage improvements and 2,350 LF of roads.

Pawleys Island Hammock Company (Pawleys Island, South Carolina). A rope hammock manufacturing plant contained in two buildings located on a three acre tract. Responsible for site design and stormwater management plant.

Waccamaw Neck Medical Clinic Expansion (Murrells Inlet, South Carolina). Project consists of the design of water, sewer, parking and stormwater drainage facilities to accommodate an 11,200 square foot building expansion to an existing medical clinic located in Murrells Inlet, SC. Project required relocation of utilities and demolition of existing sidewalks and parking areas to allow construction of new facilities.

Brookgreen Gardens Visitors Center Complex (Murrells Inlet, South Carolina). Project includes design of water, sewer and stormwater improvements to serve proposed Visitors' Center Complex. Proposed site elements to consist of museum shop, orientation building, auditorium building, restaurant and botanical exhibition gallery.

Georgetown County Detention Facility - Phase 1 (Georgetown County, South Carolina). Project consists of an approximately 154 bed county prison complex. Responsibilities include design of on-site water, wastewater, storm drainage facilities as well as parking lots. Also responsible for off-site utilities which included 16,000 LF of 8" force main and a pump station.
